The sunsets especially in December is something you will always remember.

There are many excellent sites to obtain information on the surrounding towns such as George , Knysna , Plettenberg Bay and Mossel Bay. Before you finalise your holiday spend some time to see what the area has to offer. Most of us do have limited time and we have to make the best of it. You can be rest assured that once you choose this region as your holiday destination you will come back again and again. Every time it will be a different but still memorable experience.	For detailed weather updates there are various links such as msn.weather.com which has up to the minute forecasts for George .The average temperature in Sedgefield is very similar. Maximum temperatures in summer can be in the upper twenties in February and in winter minimum temperatures in July can be around five degrees C. In general the temperatures are very moderate in Segdefield and never reaches extreme conditions Rainfall figures are normally at a maximum in March and October. As this region has summer and winter rain the vegetation is always lush and green.

There are several craft markets in the area . The one just outside Sedgefield is very popular and a Saturday morning can be well spent here. On a bad weather day you can visit the Garden Route Mall where you can shop for anything you need , see a movie or visit some fine restaurants. The Mall is situated just outside George on the way to Wilderness. There are several beaches in the area and Wilderness beach and Victoria Bay are very popular for surfing swimming and fishing.
